Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: -

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or an equivalent qualification.
Government Trade Test Certificate Grade I, II or III in Electrical Installation or an equivalentrecognized qualification.
Technician Certificate Part III or Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Installation from a recognized institution, where specified.
At least three (3) years' experience as an Artisan II (Electrical) or in a comparable position for promotion to Artisan I.
Demonstrated merit and ability in work performance
