Duties and Responsibilities
- This is the entry grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will be based in the County /Subcounty Workshops and will be attached to a small motor vehicle repair section. The officer will be supervised by a senior officer in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles; the officer will assist in inspection, and testing vehicles before and after repairs; the officer will assist in conducting proficiency test for drivers.
Requirements for Appointment: -
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
- Craft certificate in Motor Vehicles Mechanics or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution
OR
- Government Grade Test III/II/I in Motor Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- a valid Driving License, and;
- Certificate in Computer Application skills.
