Key Responsibilities
- Champion automation of MLAK dashboard reports and monthly operations reports on BI.
- Co-ordinate the departmental ICT champions for testing of the core system issues raised weekly.
- Assist in industry data analysis on quarterly basis and any adhoc requests.
- Assist in market data analysis and give insight on data trends.
- Assist with the financial projections on product lines and branches.
- Report on comparative analysis using the industry IRA, RBA reports and other data sources.
- Assist Operations in the compiling of the various board reports.
- Support other departments with data analysis required to fully execute their activities.
- Support, monitor and review operations automation process in consultation with the departmental managers and the Business Analyst.
- Assist in keeping track of the risk registers to mitigate the risks and responses to any operational audit issues raised.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the operations manager from time to time.
Experience and Knowledge Required
- At least 2 years’ experience as an analyst in an insurance company, investment house or stockbroker.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-starter who is well organized.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Academic and Professional Qualifications required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- Professional qualification in Accounts or Finance.
- Data Analysis/Business Analytics Certification.
