Requirements for Appointment:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field from a recognized and accredited university;
- Professional certification such as CEH, CISSP, or CISM will be an added advantage;
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in IT security; and
- Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, risk assessment, and incident response.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Protect the eCampus digital infrastructure and online learning systems against cyber threats
- Implement security protocols, firewalls, and data encryption mechanisms;
- Conduct regular system audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments;
- Respond to and resolve security breaches in a timely manner;
- Train staff and students on cyber security best practices; and
- Ensure compliance with University and national ICT security policies.
