Our client is expanding their expanding finance team and are currently looking for an experienced, hands-on professional to fill the role of Deputy Head - Finance & Accounting.
The Role:
- We are seeking an experienced and hands-on finance professional to support the leadership and execution of the Finance & Accounting function, ensuring strong financial reporting, controls, compliance and effective business support.
Duties:
- Support accurate and timely financial reporting and accounting operations
- Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations and compliance
- Support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
- Review financial information and provide actionable business insights
- Support effective financial governance and documentation
- Partner with operational teams on financial and business requirements
- Support process improvement and greater efficiency within finance
- Guide and support the Finance & Accounting team in day-to-day execution
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA.
- Strong hands-on financial management, reporting, and budgeting experience.
- Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar complex operating environment is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience supervising or leading teams
