Duties And Responsibilities
- Responding promptly to medical emergencies and providing pre-hospital emergency care to patients.
- Assessing patients' conditions and determining appropriate emergency interventions within the scope of practice.
- Administering basic and advanced life support procedures as required.
- Stabilizing and preparing patients for referral to health facilities.
- Ensuring Cleanliness of the ambulances
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the authorized officer
Requirements for Appointment
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education ( KSCE)
- Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Medical Services (EMS), paramedicine or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Possess basic Life Support (BLS) and advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) certificate from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrate professional competence and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
