ROLE SUMMARY

• To provide safe, timely and efficient emergency medical transportation while supporting pre-hospital emergency care, ensuring ambulance readiness, maintaining emergency response capability and contributing to positive patient outcomes through professional driving, emergency medical support and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate or Diploma in Advanced Emergency Medical Technician from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing licence where applicable.
• Valid Kenyan Driving Licence with the appropriate class for ambulance operation.
• Defensive driving certification is an added advantage.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory (ACLS is an added advantage).
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in ambulance operations or emergency medical services.
