Key Responsibilities Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial transactions in the general ledger, including monthly trial balance reconciliations in line with the Chart of Accounts and USALI standards. Review, post, and approve journal entries from the finance team, ensuring all journals are properly supported and authorized. Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, and address variances against budget. Ensure timely preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations by the 3rd of each month and follow up on outstanding reconciling items for clearance. Manage all prepayments, accruals, and ledger updates, incorporating finance review feedback and responding to queries as required. Oversee tax compliance, including filing of tax returns and other statutory payments, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Maintain the fixed asset register, including capitalization of assets from work-in-progress, monitoring, and disposal of assets. Support annual budgeting, facilitate internal and external audits, ensure proper document filing and archiving, and participate in performance reviews within the finance department. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; master’s degree and professional qualification CPA is required. Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in financial management, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry. High level of accuracy, transparency, and financial accountability.
