Roles/Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and maintain accurate employee records.
• Coordinate staff recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Implement HR policies, procedures and guidelines across the institution.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR best practices.
• Conduct regular market visits and monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
• Ensure effective product distribution, availability, merchandising and visibility across assigned territories.
• Handle employee relations, welfare and workplace concerns professionally.
• Support performance management, staff development and training initiatives
• Maintain proper HR documentation, reports and confidential personnel records.
• Advise management on HR matters, workforce planning and institutional development.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field from a recognized university.
• Candidates aged 30–40 years, with high integrity, confidentiality and professionalism, who are willing to reside in Embu or Kirinyaga.
• Proven practical experience in Human Resource Management.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a senior sales leadership or commercial management position.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures and labour regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong administrative, organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Good conflict-resolution, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Team collaboration and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and evaluation skills
• Strong business development and client relationship management skills
