Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
- A technical diploma with extensive experience will also be considered.
- 5-8 years of injection molding experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, mold setup, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Experience with Haitian, Husky, or similar injection molding machines and automation systems.
- Knowledge of thermoplastics, mold design, auxiliary equipment, Lean manufacturing, and quality control.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily injection molding production to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Monitor machine utilization, cycle times, downtime, production efficiency, and output.
- Lead, train, and supervise machine operators, technicians, and process personnel.
- Oversee mold setups, process parameters, troubleshooting, and quality control.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, tooling repairs, and equipment performance.
- Manage material usage, inventory, waste reduction, and production documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement through 5S, Lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ensure workplace safety and coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
