Duties and Responsibilities
- This is the entry grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will be based in the County /Subcounty Workshops and will be attached to a motor vehicle repair unit. The officer will be supervised by a senior officer in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles; the officer will inspect and test vehicles before and after repairs; the officer will conduct proficiency test for drivers
Requirements for Appointment: -
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
- Diploma in either Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or Technician Certificate Part III in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
- a valid Driving License, and;
- Certificate in Computer Application skills
