Role Purpose
- The Junior Sales Controlling Analyst – CEWA Provides high-quality analytical, reporting, and forecasting support to enable commercial decision-making across CEWA markets. The jobholder ensures data accuracy, delivers actionable insights, and supports planning, performance tracking, and trade spend analysis under the guidance of the Sales Controller.
Sales Performance & Reporting
- Track and analyze monthly sales performance versus forecast, budget, and prior year.
- Prepare and maintain CEWA (excl. NG) dashboards by country and category, covering Trade Spend, Gross Margin.
- Drive monthly IMS and DIH accuracy and aligment with DMS tool
- Identify variances, trends, and risks, and proactively escalate insights to the Sales Controller.
Forecasting & Planning
- Validate sales team assumptions and challenge gaps in sell‑in, sell‑out, DIH, and execution.
- Support in CEWA finance team in annual budget and strategic planning cycles.
- Drive Monthly Gap Review meetings as part of enhancing the overall S&OP Best practices
Pricing, Trade Terms & Trade Spend Control
- Monitor promotional spend and validate all trade investment proposals against ROI requirements.
- Ensure compliance with trade terms, discount structures, and commercial policies.
- Track and flag risks related to distributor credit notes, rebates, and claims.
Business Partnering with CEWA Sales Teams
- Act as the analytical support partner to Sales Managers and Key Account Managers.
- Prepare financial scenarios, customer analyses, and materials for JBP and commercial review meetings.
- Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests to support commercial priorities.
Controls, Governance & Policy Compliance
- Ensure adherence to commercial policies, TTC policy, promo policy across CEWA.
- Validate distributor contracts and pricing models for accuracy and governance.
- Strengthen internal controls around rebates, accruals, returns, and trade terms.
- Support the timely and high-quality delivery of RCM control submissions.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
- ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualification or progression is an advantage.
- 2–3 years’ experience in Finance, sales controlling, FP&A, or business analytics.
- Strong data and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, SAP, or similar tools).
- Experience in distributor-driven markets (FMCG preferred) is a plus.
- Strong analytical capability with ability to turn data into actionable insights.
