Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and research in Physical Chemistry and related areas (four courses per semester
- Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in Physical Chemistry and related disciplines
- Providing results of assignments, tests and examinations for recording
- Setting and marking assignments, tests and examinations
- Conducting laboratory practicals and research activities in Physical Chemistry and related areas
- Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the University Management.
Qualifications and skills
- An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in English, Linguistics, Literature or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized University
- Excellent laboratory, presentation, teaching and learning support skills
- At least three (3) years teaching experience at University level or experience in research or industry
- Registered with the relevant professional body, where applicable
- Ability to organize academic seminars, workshops and conference
- A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers
