Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail assisting in: Feeding animals; Taking animals temperature on daily basis and recording of the same; Cleaning of animals pens and paddocks; Preparing and presenting animals before germplasm collection; Reporting any sick animal; Taking part in animal dipping and vector control activities; Preparing and presenting animals for vaccination and treatment, parading them when there are visitors; Ensuring quarantine measures are adhered to; and Assisting the Veterinary surgeons during postmortems. Person Specifications For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: - KCSE D + (Plus) or its Equivalent; and Proficiency in Computer Applications Skills and competencies Hardworking; Ability to work as a team; Communication skills; and Background in care of livestock.
