- Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of the Centre’s facilities, with a primary focus on electrical and plumbing systems, to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and utilities.
- Monitor water and power systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Maintain maintenance records and report identified faults.
- Support renovation, repair, and improvement projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Building
- Services, or another related technical field from a recognized institution.
- At least three-years experience of practical maintenance experience in a hotel, institution,
- commercial facility, or similar environment.
- Relevant trade certification and/or valid electrical licensing where applicable.
- Demonstrated competence in both electrical and plumbing works.
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
