Introduction to Aspire Future Leaders Programme
- We're looking for graduates and young professionals known for their excellence—both academically and professionally. - Aspire Future Leaders Programme is a fast-track twelve months job rotation, which serves as a catalyst for career development. It is designed to offer core professional skills through project-based learning, mentorship and exposure to processes and systems.
- The components of the programme have been weaved together such that our trainees emerge with valuable insights, the 'know-how' to deliver, and confidence to make meaningful decisions pertaining to their future careers.
- The programme includes global exposure, mentorship, leadership networking opportunities and customized learning and development opportunities.
- To create compelling written and visual content that brings the University’s people, mission and impact to life across channels while developing strategic storytelling and content leadership capabilities through rotations, mentorship and project work.

Critical Accountabilities
- Written storytelling – Research, interview, draft articles for newsletters and social media
- Visual content creation- Design graphics, social media tiles and infographics on Canva, capture and edit photographs and short form videos as per the visual brand guideline.
- ; Multi-channel storytelling – Adapt and package stories for web, social media, email and print by applying basic SEO and accessibility practices
- Content planning and campaign support – Contribute ideas to the editorial calendar, support the conceptualization and execution of storytelling campaigns
- Stakeholder engagement - Build relationships across departments to identify authentic stories; conduct interviews; secure necessary consents and permissions; respect privacy and sensitivities.
- Learning and leadership development; - Participate in structured rotations, mentorship and training; take ownership of at least one end-to-end storytelling project; present learnings; progressively build strategic storytelling capability.
- Administrative support- Provide administrative support to the Storytelling Lead and team in instances where procurement of outsourced services or items is required.
Requirements
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Media/Mass Communication, Marketing, English, Graphic Design, Digital Media or related discipline.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills;Visual design proficiency; familiarity with social media and CMS platforms;
- Creativity; organization; collaboration; cultural sensitivity; ambition for strategic content leadership.
- Applicants must be residing or have permission to work in the country of application
Relevant Experience
- Maximum one year of relevant experience including internships, freelance, volunteer or academic project work.
- Portfolio demonstrating written and visual work required.
