Marketing Manager

Qualifications and Core Skills

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Marketing, Entrepreneurship or Administration from a recognized institution.
• At least nine (7) years’ experience of which five (5) must be at Assistant Manager level or equivalent in a University, Resea
• Institution, large public or private institution or a comparable institution.
• A track record in building effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Experience in creating innovative marketing products.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing implementation of the University Marketing Strategy
• Developing and manage the marketing budget
• Providing effective leadership and supervision of the marketing team
• Managing marketing campaigns by overseeing the planning and execution across various channels.
• Developing, managing and executing annual strategic marketing plans to reach appropriate target audiences.
• Initiating research, development and implementation of innovative marketing programs.
• Developing and promoting branding initiatives consistent with the University’s business goals and objectives.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensuring alignment and consistency in marketing efforts.
• Analyzing potential new products to enhancing the marketing work of the University.
• Providing strategic leadership for the marketing team and other departments.
• Experience with marketing automation software, CRM systems, web analytics tools and social media platforms.
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned.
