Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess psycho-social history of patients/clients;
- Record psycho-social history of patients/clients and identify needy clients for psycho- social support;
- Verify supportive documents provided by patients/clients;
- Collect patient/clients’ bio data including relevant interventions;
- Sensitize clients on enrolment to NHIF or choice health insurance covers;
- Extract psychosocial information from the patient and observation of casual factors which might be useful to the treatment plan;
- Implement patients’ treatment programs and follow up on discharge;
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- or its equivalent qualification;
- Diploma in any of the following fields: Medical Social Work, Social Work, Sociology, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Demonstrate professional competence as reflected in work performance and results;
- Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution;
- Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the values and principles as outlined in article 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010;
- Satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
