About this role
Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical support during mechanical practical sessions and workshop activities. Prepare, issue, and maintain mechanical tools, machines and training equipment. Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental standards in workshops. Maintain inventory and accurate records of workshop tools, equipment and consumables. Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and machinery. Assist in the preparation of practical examinations, demonstrations and student projects. Minimum Requirements Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution. Minimum KCSE Mean Grade: C- (minus). At least three (3) years of relevant hands-on experience. Computer literate. Knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). Demonstrated ability to maintain mechanical equipment and observe safety standards. go to method of application »
