Duties and Responsibilities
- implementing nutrition programmes;
- providing nutrition servicesinhealthcarefacilities;
- conductingnutritionassessments;
- collecting and compiling nutrition data;
- providing nutrition health education and demonstrations;
- counseling of patients with specific nutritional needs;
- monitoring preparation of therapeutic feeds;
- implementing outpatient and inpatient supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes;
- promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programmes;
- providing micronutrient supplementation.
- Shall work in a flexible shift
- Strong commitment to patient care
- Any other relevant duty and responsibility within the County Health Department
Requirements
- Hold a diploma in nutrition and dietetics from an accredited medical institution
- Has a registration certificate and valid practicing license with the nutrition and dietetic council of Kenya
