ROLE SUMMARY
- Join Our Team A locum Nutritionist is required to provide nutritional assessment, counselling and therapeutic diet planning for inpatients and outpatients, supporting multidisciplinary ward rounds and covering sessional demand without additional permanent headcount.
REQUIREMENT
- Conduct nutritional assessments.
- Develop diet plans for inpatients and outpatients.
- Provide dietary counselling.
- Monitor malnutrition risks.
- Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds.
- Education Level: Degree / Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Years of Experience: Minimum 1-year clinical nutrition experience.
- Relevant Previous Roles: Nutritionist/Dietitian in a hospital setting.
- Any Other: Available for shift-based/ward-round duty.
- Required certifications, licenses or Registrations: Registered with the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute (KNDI); valid practising licence.
- Core technical skills (Tools, software or methodologies required): Nutritional assessment (anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary), therapeutic diet planning, malnutrition screening, HMIS/EMR documentation.
