Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing and production operations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and plans.
- Monitor production schedules and output targets.
- Optimize production efficiency and resource utilization.
- Ensure product quality meets company standards.
- Manage inventory, warehousing, and material flow.
- Control production costs and operational budgets.
- Lead production, maintenance, and warehouse teams.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate procurement and production planning activities.
- Prepare operational reports and performance dashboards.
- Analyze production data and recommend improvements.
- Drive productivity, quality, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Develop and mentor departmental supervisors and staff.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven years' experience in manufacturing operations.
- At least three years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience managing production teams and factory operations.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement principles.
- Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards.
- MBA or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
