The Role

  • Zeno is looking for a People Operations Consultant who will keep the employee lifecycle running smoothly, accurately and in line with labour law. You will be the go-to adviser for managers and staff on HR policy, processes and employee relations.
  • You will also improve how we work: tightening processes, getting more out of our HR systems, and using data to guide people decisions. Success means zero compliance matters, faster turnaround, and employees who trust the People team.

What You'll Do

Employee lifecycle

  • Run onboarding, contract changes, promotions, transfers and exits end to end
  • Prepare and maintain employment contracts, offer letters and HR documentation
  • Keep employee records accurate and audit-ready in the HRIS

Employee relations and advisory

  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and best practice
  • Support disciplinary, grievance and performance-improvement processes from investigation to outcome
  • Coach managers to handle people issues fairly and consistently

Policy and compliance

  • Draft, review and update HR policies and the employee handbook
  • Ensure practices comply with labour law, statutory deductions and data-protection rules
  • Track regulatory changes and flag risks to the Head of People Operations

Payroll and benefits

  • Send accurate monthly payroll inputs and reconcile them with Finance
  • Administer benefits such as medical cover, pension and leave
  • Act as first point of contact for benefits providers and employee queries

Process improvement and HR data

  • Map and simplify HR processes to cut manual work and turnaround time
  • Configure and improve the HRIS and self-service tools
  • Produce monthly reports on headcount, turnover, absence and other people metrics

Projects and culture

  • Support performance review cycles, engagement surveys and learning initiatives
  • Contribute to wellbeing, DEI and culture programmes
  • Take on ad hoc People projects as the business grows

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology or a related field
  • Professional HR certification (e.g. CHRP, CIPD Level 5 or equivalent)
  • 5–10 years in HR or People Operations, ideally including a generalist or advisory role
  • Strong working knowledge of local labour law and statutory compliance
  • Hands-on experience with an HRIS and people processes
  • Sound judgement on employee-relations cases and confidential matters
  • Clear written and spoken communication, with the confidence to advise senior managers
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and comfort working with data

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Company sponsored healthcare plan.
  • Join a world class team of engineers, operators, and entrepreneurs from across the globe who are part of the inevitable trillion-dollar transition of two-wheelers to electric!
