Job Purpose To ensure safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medicines, provide pharmaceutical care, and support safe medication use in line with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Review and dispense prescriptions accurately. Provide patient counselling on proper medication use. Ensure safe storage, handling, and management of medicines. Maintain proper inventory control and monitor stock levels/expiry. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies. Support doctors and nurses with drug information and advice. Maintain accurate dispensing and pharmacy records. Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions. Key Result Areas (KRAs) Accurate and timely dispensing of medicines. Compliance with regulatory and hospital standards. Effective stock and inventory management. Patient safety and satisfaction. Proper documentation and reporting. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm). Registered with Pharmacy and Poisons Board with a valid practicing license. 3+ years’ experience in hospital/clinical pharmacy preferred.
