Responsibilities
- Undertake initial client assessment
- Administer counselling contract
- Conduct individual counselling sessions
- Develop psychological explanation of the client issues
- Refer clients to specialists
- Document, record and keep appropriate psychological counselling; and information and records.
Qualifications / Work Experience
- Professional Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing
- Professional Cumulative service period of three (3) years’ work experience at the grade of Psychological Counsellor II or in a comparable position
- Academic Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Counselling, Psychology or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution; OR Bachelors Degree in any following disciplines: Clinical Psychology, Occupational Psychology, Education Psychology (Guidance andCounseling), Social Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology plus a Diploma in Counseling Psychology or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution
