Job Purpose
- To produce offset inks and chemicals as per production requirements, ensuring accurate completion of production orders within set timelines while maintaining quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Produce offset inks and chemicals in line with production requirements.
- Ensure production orders are completed accurately and within set timelines.
- Ensure correct weighing, labelling, packaging, and storage of finished products.
- Monitor production materials and concentrates and update bin cards accordingly.
Machine Operation & Maintenance
- Operate and maintain production machines and report technical faults promptly.
- Assist in operating and maintaining the effluent treatment area.
Quality Control
- Conduct colour matching and ensure products meet required quality standards.
- Work closely with Production and Sales teams.
Housekeeping & Safety
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards within the production area.
- Handle urgent production orders and ensure timely completion.
Qualification and Experience
Education
- Diploma in Printing Technology.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ink and chemical production.
- Experience in ink production and color matching is highly preferred.
Core Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
