Our client, a growing supplier of construction and industrial machinery, is looking to build a strong and results-driven sales team.

We are looking for a commercially minded Sales Executive - Construction Equipment who can identify opportunities, engage decision-makers and convert prospects into business.

The role involves selling construction machinery and equipment to contractors, developers, construction companies, engineering firms, hardware distributors, project consultants and other commercial clients.

What You'll Do

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and industrial sectors. 
• Prospect for contractors, developers, engineering firms and other potential customers. 
• Promote construction machinery and equipment and communicate their value to customers. 
• Conduct field visits, client meetings and product demonstrations. 
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate equipment solutions. 
• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales presentations. 
• Negotiate with customers and close sales. 
• Work towards and achieve agreed monthly sales targets. 
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships. 
• Follow up on leads and quotations until conversion or closure. 
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and emerging opportunities. 
• Coordinate with technical teams on equipment delivery, installation and customer support. 
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts and activity reports. 
• Provide professional after-sales support to customers. 

Who We're Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 
• At least 2 years experience in B2B sales. 
• Experience selling construction equipment, heavy machinery, engineering products, industrial equipment or technical solutions is highly desirable. 
• Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling. 
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate and close sales. 
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. 
• Strong customer relationship management abilities. 
• Self-driven, target-oriented and commercially minded. 
• Comfortable with field-based sales and regular client visits. 
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline. 
• A valid driving licence is an added advantage.
