Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Control access to company premises and verify all visitors, staff, and contractors.
• Conduct routine patrols of company facilities and surrounding areas.
• Monitor CCTV systems and security surveillance equipment.
• Protect company assets against theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Maintain detailed security occurrence books and incident reports.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing goods, vehicles, and personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company security procedures and policies.
• Investigate security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement agencies where necessary.
• Monitor fire safety equipment and emergency preparedness.
• Support health and safety initiatives across company operations.
• Conduct security risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Escort visitors, contractors, and high-value deliveries when required.
• Report suspicious activities and security concerns to management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Skills & Requirements

• Diploma Security Management.
• Criminology Qualification Advantage.
• Three Years Security Experience.
• Corporate Security Experience.
• CCTV Operations Knowledge.
• Security Risk Assessment.
• Emergency Response Skills.

• Fire Safety Knowledge.
• Computer Literacy Required.
• Valid Certificate Good Conduct.
