Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-risk pregnancies, deliveries and obstetric emergencies.
- Perform major and minor OBGYN surgeries: C-sections, hysterectomies, myomectomies.
- Run antenatal, postnatal and gynecology outpatient clinics.
- Provide leadership in family planning and reproductive health education.
- Monitor maternal/perinatal mortality and conduct maternal death audits.
- Supervise and mentor midwives, medical officers and interns.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master of Medicine (MMed) in Obstetrics and Gynecology or equivalent post-graduate qualification recognized by KMPDC.
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience with active clinical practiceinOBGYN.
