About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and results-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of inventory.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock management, and enforcing health, safety, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Lead, allocate duties to, and monitor the performance of warehouse staff.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, counting, inspection, and recording of incoming goods.
  • Maintain proper storage and organisation of inventory to maximise warehouse space.
  • Monitor stock levels and support regular stock counts and reconciliation.
  • Investigate and report stock variances, damages, losses, and discrepancies.
  • Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, records, and inventory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, and health and safety requirements.
  • Monitor the condition and proper use of warehouse equipment and facilities.
  • Coordinate with procurement, sales, finance, transport, and other departments to support smooth operations.
  • Implement appropriate stock rotation practices, including FIFO/FEFO where applicable.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements to warehouse processes.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on stock, warehouse performance, and operational issues.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, secure, organised, and audit-ready at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proven experience supervising and managing warehouse teams.
  • Good understanding of inventory management, stock control, receiving, picking, and dispatch processes.
  • Experience working with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or inventory management systems.
  • Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good understanding of occupational health and safety practices.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
