Job Summary This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer. Standards and Regulation Function The cadre is responsible for implementation of regulations, development and review of policies, standards, guidelines and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities will entail: Compiling and documenting the existing relevant Standards and Regulations; Isolating and allocating the Standards and Regulations to the applicable thematic areas; Tracking the extent of application of the Standards and Regulation; Ranking based on the developed criteria the extent of compliance to the Standards and Regulations; Preparing reports on implementation of Standards and Regulations. Job Specifications For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have: Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Hydrology, Soil, Water and Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Geology, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and Proficiency in computer applications. go to method of application »
