Website Operator

About the Position

• We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Website & Marketing Assistant.
• This is an entry-level position involving e-commerce website management, customer service, marketing, POS, and customer-facing responsibilities. Training will be provided, and previous experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain products, prices, images, and information on the e-commerce website.
• Assist customers with website inquiries, online orders, and general customer service through the website, WhatsApp, social media, and in person.
• Assist with social media posts, product promotions, advertisements, and other basic marketing activities.
• Follow up with potential customers and leads.
• Follow up with existing customers regarding orders, customer experience, and outstanding payments.
• Assist with POS transactions and basic checkout duties when required.
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and product information.
• Use AI and other digital tools to assist with content creation, research, marketing, and day-to-day tasks.
• Assist with other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.

• Good computer skills and comfortable learning new software.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
• Organized, reliable, and willing to take initiative.
• Comfortable communicating with customers both online and in person.
• Willingness to learn and use AI tools and new technology.
• Ability to work full-time from our Eldoret office.

Preferred but not required:

• Experience with websites, e-commerce, social media, or digital marketing.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design or content creation.
• Familiarity with Odoo, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms.
