Job Specifications
- This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. A technician at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer and can be deployed in any of the following functional areas:
Registration and Licensing
- Receiving indexing, internship, registration and licensing forms from applicants for registration and licensing by the Board;
- Ascertaining attachments of required application documents;
- Capturing and recording application information;
- Assisting in document management including e-filing ; and
- Attending to day-to-day enquiries on registration and licensing of veterinary practices.
Person Specification
For appointment to this grade an officer must have: -
- Certificate in Animal Health, Certificate in Animal Health and Production, Certificate in Animal Health and Range Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Registration by Kenya Veterinary Board and in good standing;
- Proficiency in computer applications.
