Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate product costing and cost analyses.
- Monitor production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory valuation processes.
- Prepare periodic cost reports and provide management with financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Work closely with production, procurement, and finance teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Cost Accountant in a busy FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem- solving skills.
