Job Purpose

The Lecturer is responsible for delivering teaching and learning activities, conducting research, and contributing to academic program development within the Midwifery subject area. The position supports curriculum delivery, student supervision, and scholarly research activities, providing quality teaching and supporting student academic development.

Qualifications Academic Qualifications

• PhD in Midwifery or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.

OR

• A relevant Master's degree registered for PhD candidature to be considered

Professional Qualifications / Membership

• Registration and valid practising status with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK), where applicable, and membership in relevant professional/academic bodies.

Relevant Work Experience

• 3 years' university teaching or research experience is an added advantage, with evidence of research publications or academic research potential.
