Role Purpose
- The QA Engineer Intern will support Pezesha’s Product and Technology teams in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of internal and customer-facing platforms, including the LMS, Marketplace App, Agent App, APIs, and partner integrations.
- This role is designed as a learning and hands-on quality assurance position, where the intern will assist in test case preparation, manual testing, bug reporting, regression testing, UAT support, and QA documentation under the guidance of the Product & QA Coordinator, Tech Lead, and Senior Tech Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Test Case Preparation & Execution
- Assist in preparing test cases based on product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Execute manual tests for web, mobile, backend, and internal system features.
- Support functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing before releases.
- Validate that developed features meet documented requirements.
Bug Identification & Reporting
- Identify and document bugs, defects, and system issues during testing.
- Log bugs clearly in approved tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Freshdesk, or other internal tracking systems.
- Provide screenshots, screen recordings, steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
- Follow up on assigned defects and support retesting after fixes are deployed.
User Acceptance Testing Support
- Support Product Leads during UAT activities for sprint deliverables.
- Help validate user flows against acceptance criteria.
- Assist in collecting and documenting feedback from users and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure UAT evidence is properly captured and stored.
Regression Testing & Release Support
- Assist in regression testing before production deployments.
- Support release readiness checks by validating key product flows.
- Help confirm that previous functionality has not been affected by new changes.
- Support post-release validation and issue monitoring.
Product & Engineering Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Leads, Developers, Tech Leads, and the Senior Tech Lead during sprint cycles.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives where required.
- Support clarification of defects and testing outcomes with developers.
- Escalate blockers, risks, and recurring issues to the QA Engineer or Tech Lead.
QA Documentation & Reporting

Maintain updated test cases, test results, and QA evidence.

Assist in preparing QA reports showing testing progress, defect status, and release readiness.

Document common user issues, system gaps, and product improvement opportunities.

Support knowledge sharing and documentation for tested features.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
- Learn QA best practices, Agile delivery, product testing, API testing, and fintech platform workflows.
- Support improvement of QA templates, testing checklists, and quality processes.
- Contribute ideas to improve product usability, customer experience, and testing efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Recent graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of software testing, QA processes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with web and mobile application testing is an added advantage.
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Freshdesk, Postman, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn fintech products, APIs, and digital lending workflows.
- Previous internship, academic project, or hands-on experience in QA/testing is an added advantage but not mandatory.
